Gear Review: Why I Love the Lib Tech T. Rice Pro Snowboard

Big pop. Mid wide magic. Just the right amount of flex.

If you are on the hunt for a snowboard that can do it all from popping off side hits to charging through variable terrain let me introduce you to my favorite deck in the quiver the Lib Tech T Rice Pro.

This is not just a one season fling. I have been riding this board for over 7 years across two different versions, and each one has held up incredibly well. Year after year it is the board I reach for the most. Here is why.

Pop Snap and All That Jazz

The first thing I noticed about the T Rice Pro is how poppy and responsive it is. Whether I am boosting off a natural side hit or loading up for a fast turn this board has an energetic snappy feel underfoot. It gives back what you put in and then some.

Carving feels super clean and it holds an edge extremely well thanks to Lib Tech’s C2 camber rocker camber profile. It is playful when you want it to be and locked in when it matters.

Mid Wide Fit for Bigger Boots

As someone with size 11 boots toe drag is always a concern. The mid wide version of the T Rice Pro completely solves that issue. I get the width I need without sacrificing quick edge to edge response.

Whether I am laying down deep carves on groomers or hitting a side hit with speed this board stays nimble and confidence inspiring. It truly feels like the sweet spot for riders with bigger boots.

Just Enough Flex to Do It All

This board hits the perfect balance when it comes to flex. It has enough backbone to feel solid in technical terrain and variable snow but it is not so stiff that it kills the fun.

From powder days to icy resort laps to natural features the T Rice Pro adapts easily. It feels stable at speed but still playful enough to press pop and butter when the moment calls for it.

Built to Last

One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to the T Rice Pro is its durability. I have owned two versions over more than 7 years and both have taken serious abuse. Trees rocks sketchy landings and countless resort days and the board continues to perform.

This board does not just ride well. It sticks around.

Final Thoughts

If you are looking for a snowboard that can handle park laps steep lines hardpack powder and everything in between without switching setups the Lib Tech T Rice Pro is an easy choice.

⚡ Poppy and energetic

⚡ Mid wide shape that works perfectly for size 11 boots

⚡ Balanced flex that handles difficult terrain with ease

⚡ Proven durability over multiple seasons

It is not hype. It is just a really good snowboard.
